8 x 10 1/2, imprinted U.S. form, filled out in ink. Pay Voucher for Richard Mosby for service as a Roustabout on the U.S. Transport Steamboat, Laurel Hill, from November 1st to 30th 1864, 1 month at Thirty one Dollars. Mosby has signed the document with his mark, and the account has been certified to be correct at New Orleans, and is signed by F.W. Perkins, Capt. & Asst. Quartermaster. Light age toning, staining and wear. Uncommon to find one of this vouchers for a roustabout.

Francis W. Perkins, was commissioned 1st lieutenant, & regimental q.m., 2nd N.H. Infantry, August 26, 1861; promoted to captain & a.q.m., June 9, 1862; mustered out, Sept. 20, 1865.
