Age toning and wear.
Robert H. Forster, was a 33 year old resident from Rebersburg, Pa., when he enlisted as a captain, on September 1, 1862, and was commissioned into the 148th Pennsylvania Infantry. He was wounded in action three times during the war. These wounds occurred at Chancellorsville, Va., on May 3, 1863; Gettysburg, Pa., on July 3, 1863; and Petersburg, Va., on June 18, 1864. He was discharged because of his wounds on December 22, 1864. |
