1st Corps Commander, in General Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia, he was the senior lieutenant general of the Confederate Army. Affectionately known as "Old Pete" to his intimate friends, and Lee's "Old War Horse," General James Longstreet was one of the best known Confederate Generals to come out of the War Between The States.

This is a unique "one of a kind" original painting of Tom Berenger as he portrays Confederate General James Longstreet from the celebrated Civil War movie, "Gettysburg." This superb likeness is a chest up view in Confederate general's uniform with slouch hat with hat cord and acorns visible. It has been beautifully framed in an ornate gold wood frame that measures 19 x 23, with double mats of gray suede, and gold. This very rare painting came from the personal art collection of Tom Berenger, and was personally acquired by myself directly from Mr. Berenger. He has personally hand signed the painting in the upper left sky area, to include his character name, the movie title, and his signature: Lt.-General James Longstreet, "Gettysburg" Tom Berenger.
