Itemized list includes forage caps, flannel sack coats, infantry trowsers, shirts, drawers, bootees, stockings, woolen blanket, rubber blankets, knapsacks, great coat straps, canteens, and brass letters. These items were received from Lt. Lucius Field, Q.M. 36th Mass. Vols., to replace clothing, etc. that was worn out. The requisition has been signed by T.L. Barker, Lt. Col. Commanding Regt., and twice by W.H. Morrow, Lt., Co. H, 36th Mass. Vols. Thaddeus L. Barker, was a 36 year old machinist from Fitchburg, Mass., when he enlisted on Aug. 19, 1862, as a captain, and was commissioned into Co. A, 36th Massachusetts Infantry. He was wounded in action on Nov. 16, 1863, at Campbell's Station, Tenn.; promoted to major, May 6, 1864; lieutenant colonel, Oct. 12, 1864; was wounded, on June 3, 1864, at Cold Harbor, Va.; mustered out of service on June 8, 1865, at Alexandria, Va. William H. Morrow, was a 19 year old farmer, from Barre, Mass., when he enlisted on July 19, 1861, as a private, and was mustered into Co. K, 21st Massachusetts Infantry. He was promoted to sergeant, date unknown; wounded on Aug. 12, 1864, at Petersburg, Va.; promoted to 2nd lieutenant, Sept. 7, 1864; transferred to 36th Massachusetts Infantry, Oct. 21, 1864; promoted to 1st lieutenant, Nov. 29, 1864; mustered out of service, June 8, 1865, at Alexandria, Va.
