Unused, Civil War patriotic envelope. Vignette of Jeff Davis emptying a barrel of bonds into a feeding pen where a large hog representing the Southern Confederacy is feeding her young piglets. The names of the southern states who have seceded from the Union are imprinted on each of the piglets. Off to the area at right outside of the fence are the border states of Maryland, Missouri, and Kentucky. This excellent 1861 Ohio imprint is titled, That Feed Won't Do.
