Lithograph, overall size is 15 1/4 x 12, with white border around the edges. This is a reprint of the 1893 lithograph. General Nathaniel Lyon, who was killed in the battle, can be seen reeling in his saddle on the white horse at the center. Imprint, Battle of Wilson's Creek, copyrighted 1893, by Kurz & Allison, Chicago. Aug. 10, 1861. Union (Gen. Lyon) Loss-223 Killed, 721 Wounded, 291 Missing. Gen. Lyon Killed. Confederate (Gen. McCulloch) Loss- 265 Killed. 800 Wounded. 30 Missing.
