Stamped brass hat wreath insignia with letters G.A.R. [Grand Army of the Republic] attached to the center of the wreath. These were worn by Civil War veterans on their slouch hat or kepi. Complete with straight pin fastener. Comes beautifully displayed in a 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 glass faced display case. Choice.
