I claim him as my father, my name being Geo. McKenize Axe, born June 7th, 1859, at Phillipsburg, N.J. I had also a brother who was named William McClinen Axe. 7 1/8 x 1 1/2. White silk ribbon with black imprint. No pin. This ribbon came with a group of G.A.R. badges from the 1886 National Encampment held at San Francisco, Ca., and was no doubt from the Fresno contingency. Very nice condition.
