RARE FIND: The following patriotic imprints were discovered in what is believed to be a Civil War era stationary store sample book organized by category and theme. Presumably customers could peruse through the book and order their favorite designs for either envelopes or stationary or both. These are not full envelopes. We suspect most of them are the front panels of covers and that they were used specifically for display purposes. Some of the designs that were found in the book are very scarce and some are very rare!
