11 x 5 3/4, imprinted manifest, filled out in ink.

Baker & Co., Receiving and Forwarding Merchants, Agents Independent Steamers, Bigbee, Warrior and Alabama Rivers, No. 43 North Front Street. Mobile, Ala.

Shipped, By Baker & Co., on board the Steamboat called the Mist, now in the Port of Mobile, and bound for Elen Bluff. For twenty four barrels of flour, with total freight charges of $24.30. Dated and signed at Mobile, Ala., Sept. 22, 1870. Very fine. These 1800's imprinted manifests for steamboats are very highly collectible.

8 x 4, imprint, filled out in ink. State of Connecticut, Treasury Office, Hartford, June 1, A.D. 1782. States that Ambrose Gaylord is owed nine pounds, nine shillings for service in the Connecticut Line of the Continental Army. Signed by J. Lawrence, Treasurer. Numerous endorsements on the reverse. Typical O cancellation. Light wear. Very fine Revolutionary War document.

John Lawrence, served as the Connecticut State Treasurer, 1769-89.
