Brackney, Sept. 6, 1864. This is a contract made between B.T. Gage and Samuel R. Wilbur, both of the Township of Silver Lake, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, whereby Gage agrees to sell Wilbur a 25 acre parcel of land in Silver Lake for $20.00 per acre. Gives the details of the location of the land and the terms of sale. The document has been signed by B.T. Gage and Samuel R. Wilbur. The reverse of the document has dated entries for receipt of payments. Light wear, age toning, and some light staining at bottom...

As the action of Blacksburg Division in admitting Cadets to its meetings may be brought before the Grand Division, allow me to suggest that you have the record book containing your proceedings at the Grand Division, so that there may be no difficulty in ascertaining with certainty what your Division did on that subject. If neither of you attend (but I hope both of you will) then send the book by some other delegate.
